There are TO-DO Lists. This is not that. This is a REMINDER List.
There’s a difference, right? You’ve probably already made a TO-DO list. Let’s admit it, it’s hard to get through this big festive season without one.
But try as we might, even with the best TO-DO list something always falls through the cracks.
We hope our list puts fewer things in the cracks. By the way, this list is in crazy random order. It’s just the way our brain works.
Here we go with 16 holiday reminders:
1. Last year you said you were going to send out greeting cards and it never happened. It’s time to decide on 2023 holiday cards. If it’s going to happen, there’s still time to shop for the cards and make your lists. But maybe. . .hurry!
2. I bet you’ve made your gift list for your family and close friends. But what about your neighbors, teachers, co-workers, and the Amazon delivery driver?
3. Craft stores have great wrapping paper, ribbons, and gift tags. Don’t forget the tape. With the right supplies, you’ll be able to go home and wrap like a master. You might want to pick up a new pair of sharp scissors too.
4. When you reply to your holiday invites remember to update your calendar. Also, you could make a note of what you’d like to wear to the party.
5. Are you hosting a party? Plan to send your invitations out early. You don’t want to be last on their list of holiday outings.
6. If your party has a theme or dress code remember to make a point of it on the invite.
7. If you are hosting, you’ll want to remember to keep track of your replies to help better plan the menu and quantity.
8. It’s a good idea to check your pantry before you go shopping. Nothing is worse than shopping for your holiday cooking and baking only to realize when you return home that you’re low on pantry staples, like salt, pepper, and baking powder.
9. Keep in mind it’s great to call, email, or text a thank you when you receive a gift. It’s the kind thing to do and we all appreciate kindness.
10. If you bring home a live tree, remember they are pretty high maintenance. Don’t forget to take care of it properly.
11. When you’re out shopping for decorations, if you live in a cold climate remember to buy your live plants last. And then take them home right away so they don’t freeze. (Don’t ask how I know.)
12. Don’t forget the wonderful after-holiday sales. It’s a great time for winter linens.
13. Now the most important reminder. Remember to take care of yourself during the holidays and beyond.
14. Remember to get enough sleep and wash your hands often. How else are you going to fight off viruses?
15. Don’t sacrifice your regular workouts - it helps to maintain daily stress relief.
16. Remember to have fun, feel joy, and live in peace.
Did we forget anything? Tell us in the comments.
Love it all! thanks :)
Just bake the stuff you love. There will be plenty of sweets going around!
